Olio extra-vergine d’oliva di frantoio
Our extra-virgin olive oil is exclusively produced through cold pressing of hand-harvested olives. Our olive groves – “frantoio”, “leccino”, “moraiolo”, and “pendolino” – stretch on the higher hills of our estate, with clay and calcareous soils.
The early harvest and the pressing within 24 hours from harvest preserve the nutrients in the olives, and produce a bright green olive oil with very low acidity.
Our extra-virgin olive oil has an intense, well rounded flavor with a peppery finish. It is a perfect ingredient for salads and vegetables and for the traditional Tuscan “fettunta”, charred bread seasoned with garlic, salt and olive oil.
