Our Chianti Rùfina 2013 Reserve DOCG is made of Sangiovese and Canaiolo grapes from our vineyards grown on calcareous and clay loam soil, in Pontassieve and Pelago, at about 100-200 metres above sea level facing South-West. Chianti Rùfina is aged for at least two years in oak barrels and refined in bottles for several months. As members of the Chianti Wine Consortium, our vineyards are listed in the Chianti Vineyards Registry.
Our Chianti Rùfina reserve 2013 is rated between 86 and 89/100 points in the 2019 edition of "Guida Oro i Vini di Veronelli” and awarded two stars.
Our Chianti is elegant and full-bodied. It features a ruby red color with garnet hues, rich fruit and flower scents, spiced hints. It pairs perfectly with red and white meats, roasts, and strong cheeses.
To be served at 18-22 °C or 64-72 °F, preferably in a decanter to allow its rich flavour and aroma to develop at their best. Alcohol 13,5%.
